The association FinnDomingo: Projekte für verantwortungsvolle Tierhaltung e.V. takes the protection of personal data very seriously. It is partly essential for our work to collect and store such data. Your data, its protection and security as well as transparent handling are very important to us. The new EU Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO 2016/79) came into force on 25 May 2018. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the statutory provisions on data protection are observed by us and by external service providers. With the following data protection declaration we want to inform you how your data will be treated by us according to the DSGVO.

First of all, we always strive to comply with data protection regulations, but of course we can also make mistakes. Please let us know if you have any questions, suggestions or criticism. → info@projekte-fuer-verantwortungsvolle-tierhaltung.de

Of course, you are also free to report violations directly to the responsible data protection authority (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Friedrichstraße 219, 10969 Berlin, Tel. 030/138 89-0, Fax 030/215 50 50, mailbox@datenschutz-berlin.de).

Personal data

This is all information about identified or identifiable natural persons. All data that gives us the opportunity to draw conclusions about your person is subject to special protection. This includes your name, address, telephone numbers and e-mail address, but also your date of birth, bank details and donation behaviour. This list does not claim to be complete and serves only as an explanation.

Collection of access data and log files

We, and/or our Hostinganbieter, raise on basis of our entitled interests in the sense of the art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f. DSGVO data about each access to our websites (so-called server log files). The access data includes

  • Name of the requested web page,
  • File, date and time of retrieval,
  • amount of data transferred,
  • Notification of successful retrieval,
  • Browser type and version, the operating system of the user,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • IP address and the requesting provider.

Log file information is stored for security reasons (e.g. for the clarification of abuse or fraud actions) for the duration of maximally 7 days and deleted afterwards. Data, the further storage of which is necessary for evidence purposes, are excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person.

Your rights

In accordance with articles 13-20 of the DSGVO, you have the right to access, rectify, cancel and limit the processing. Of course, you can revoke your consent to the storage and use of your data at any time.

Please contact info@projekte-fuer-verantwortungsvolle-tierhaltung.de. directly.

Data protection and data security

Our association collects various types of personal data for various purposes.

The use of our website is largely possible without requesting personal data. Should it nevertheless be necessary (for example when registering for the newsletter), this is done on a voluntary basis.

In the area of donors and members, these are mainly data that enable us to be in contact with you, to inform you about our work and to collect your donations and membership fees. Personal data collected for a single purpose only (e.g. sweepstakes) will not be used by us for any other purpose.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form will be stored together with the contact data you provided there for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

We assure you that we will not pass on your data to third parties, neither to other organisations or companies, nor will we participate in address trading with your data.

We transmit personal data to third parties only if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the bank commissioned with payment processing.

A further transmission of the data will not take place or only if you have expressly agreed to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

It is also essential for our daily work and the security of our IT infrastructure to work together with service providers. With these processes a passing on of personal data is possible. The corresponding service providers commit themselves contractually to our association to use these data only for the specific and permitted purpose.

In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption technology via HTTPS.

Comment function

If you leave comments on our website, in addition to this information, the time of its creation and the e-mail address you provided will be stored as well as the information provided about the website.
This is for our security, as we may be held liable for illegal content on our website, even if it has been created by users. Therefore all comments are moderated by us. Your email address will not be published when the comment is displayed on the website. The
processing of the data entered as comments is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

Newsletter

Newsletters are electronic newsletters which appear at irregular intervals. They inform about actions and news in the environment of our association and its purpose.
For an effective registration we need a valid email address. In order to verify that a registration is actually carried out by the owner of a mail address, we use the so-called “double opt-in” procedure. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the reply requested herewith. Further data will not be collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

On the basis of your expressly given consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), we will then send you our newsletter or comparable information by e-mail.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time with effect for the future. In every newsletter you will find a corresponding link. In addition, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time directly on this website or inform us of your cancellation by sending an e-mail to info@projekte-fuer-verantwortungsvolle-tierhaltung.de

However, when you make a donation, you will be asked for your name and other personal information to process and allocate the online donation. You have the possibility to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation does not affect the effectiveness of past data processing operations.
