The FinnDomingo animal sponsorships were created during the COVID pandemic as emergency aid for the member associations of the “Chilean Animal Protection Network” project. They were then continued as a small contribution to the daily struggle of Chilean animal welfare activists.
With their monthly payments (from €10), the animal sponsors help to ensure that “their” sponsored animal can get well and live in a foster home. Because these animals are all difficult or impossible to place in good new hands (because they are too old, too big, too black, too sick…).
In addition to financial support, this moral support is an important sign of solidarity and is greatly appreciated by the members of the network.
The animals are presented on Instagram at irregular intervals. The respective sponsors receive photos and news of their protégé twice a year and, with the sponsorship certificate, an invitation to visit the animal (and its foster home) at any time.
