In November/December 2024, two members of FinnDomingo e.V. spent four weeks in Chile to carry out projects that had been prepared over the previous months. Moreover, very importantly, the annual project trip serves to establish personal contacts and make initial preparations for the projects that are to start in the coming year.
This time, another aim of this journey was to check to what extent the city of Los Álamos had kept the promises it had made at the end of 2023 regarding support for Otilia Munizaga and her animal shelter AYIN RUKA. The outcome of this year’s visit was devastating, but unfortunately not surprising.
At least, FinnDomingo was able to help avert a particularly acute danger for life and limb from Otilia and her animals. Now we have to find help to rebuild the destroyed facility.
