Finally! After a forced two-year break, the cycle racing festival rad am ring will take place again at the legendary german race track Nürburgring from July 22nd to 24th, 2022. FinnDomingo e.V. will be represented with a four-person cyclist team: Karsten, Christian, Claudia and Timo. These sporting aces will participate in the 24-hour race, one of various events at this big festival that attracts several thousand bike enthusiasts and spectators.
Why a charity campaign?
For years, professionals, amateurs and, increasingly, hobby cyclists have been using cycling to collect donations for charitable purposes. So far, humanitarian aid is usually the priority, while very few people step on the pedals to advance animal welfare issues. Moreover, some may ask: Does it make sense to put effort into animal welfare “at the other end of the world”, in Chile?
We think yes!
And for good reason: Worldwide the well-being of people is linked in so many ways to the well-being of animals that whoever helps animals also helps people. That is why Karsten, Christian, Claudia and Timo want to support the educational projects of FinnDomingo e.V. and drive, drive, drive… Every round counts!
